The Christu Nilayam Children’s Home is a sanctuary for underprivileged children of India. Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive.
Through the generous support of donors, we have recently completed a new girls' dormitory and established an IT lab with regular instructors, empowering our children with essential skills for the future.
However, with the withdrawal of government funding due to Prime Minister Modi and recent economic policies, your support is more crucial than ever to continue our efforts.
Christu Nilayam Children’s Home
The Christu Nilayam children’s home was founded in 1974. It is a registered charitable organization located in India. It provides a wide variety of services such as shelter, food, and education to the impoverished youth in India. As of 2024, the children’s home has helped thousands of children.
The government of India supplies the charity with the equivalent of $13 a month per child. This money is allocated to provide shelter, food, and education. The allocation falls drastically short of what is required to provide for these children. Therefore, the organization requires a significant amount of outside funding. As of 2014, Brickhaus Partners has become the primary benefactor of the organization, and we help provide additional funds to help the impoverished youth.
